Reentry

People returning home deserve clear support. Many incarcerated people cannot access this website or search online, so Vinny’s Voice advocates for practical reentry information to reach them before release.

Local starting point: The Fayette County Reentry Coalition accepts self-referrals from justice-involved people. For current referral options, call 724-430-1251 or learn about the coalition.

Reentry information belongs inside

People who are incarcerated may have no internet access and limited reentry services. They cannot simply find this website. Vinny’s Voice advocates for clear Fayette County resource information to reach them before release.

What we are asking for

Facilities and reentry partners should make up-to-date, easy-to-read guides available directly to people inside, explain local referral options, and offer a way to plan for work, documents, and other essentials before release. A person should be able to use that information without a personal phone or internet connection.

Help get information in

Families, advocates, service providers, and facility partners can ask how approved print materials or resource guides may be shared inside. If you can help connect Vinny’s Voice with a facility or reentry partner, email Contact@vinnysvoice.org. No one should have to wait until release to learn what support exists.

Support after release

These contacts are for the period after someone comes home. Families and advocates can share them in advance. Call each program to confirm current services and eligibility.
